My Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is simple…..I meet clients where they are at and walk alongside them to where they want to be.  Life can be difficult and challenging at times however I believe that we all possess the strength and resilience to grow and change in order to live the life we have been dreaming of. I offer a compassionate and personalized approach to my work with people drawing on a variety of evidenced based therapeutic techniques (CBT,DBT, polyvagal theory, motivational interviewing to name a few).  I approach each encounter with clients with curiosity, intently listening to understand within a safe, non-judgmental space where thoughts and emotions can be explored freely.

Individual Counselling Services

I offer individual therapy to people 15 years of age and older.   I very much see the counselling relationship as a collaborative process rooted in trust empathy and respect for your journey.   Drawing from various evidenced based therapeutic modalities I am able to tailor my approach to your specific goals and needs at a pace that you set.

Let’s face it…..leadership can be hard!  In addition to strategic thinking, decision making, and organizational ability leaders need to juggle multiple competing priorities while at that same time cultivating and supporting relationships with their teams.  Drawing on my 20 years of leadership experience in the not-for-profit sector I provide a supportive environment for leaders to grow into their roles, adjust their mindsets and embrace their vulnerability.

Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision is an important part of a therapist’s practice.  I am pleased to be able to provide a safe and non-judgemental space where clinicians will feel heard and supported.
